One season ends anther begins

Posted on: October 10, 2010

It’s been a busy start to the offseason here at Surftides Lincoln City. The end of the summer brings the beginning of the Convention Season as well as a number of rather large and savvy travel groups waiting patiently for the crowds to disperse while the sun burns the last of its fall rays.

Personally, I have been knee deep in budgeting for the 2011 year – which means I have been in Los Angeles for over a week pouring over plans, numbers, and projections while reflecting on the summer past.

This brings me to several points of interest:

1) This is my second visit to our Sister Property in Los Angeles – The Farmers Daughter. If you have any plans or cause to visit LA, be sure to contact this unique motel whose location and styling simply can’t be beat. Located directly across the street from CBS Studios, The Grove, and the Farmers Market (3rd and Fairfax), the Farmers Daughter Hotel is an authentic “Hollywood” Experience which will bring you within 6 degrees of separation from an abundance of Hollywood Royalty who, at some point, made their home here.

2) My second point of interest is the announcement of a complete remodel of our Jacuzzi rooms beginning later this fall. Ellen Picataggio has developed a truly unique design that is certain to please guests of these spectacular rooms.

I am looking forward to returning to Lincoln City later this evening, and enjoying the waves, beach, and stunning views of the Surftides property.

Thanks all for a wonderful summer, and we’ll see you At Surftides Lincoln City.
